Join us on Wednesday, August 27 at the Bellaire Senior Center as we recognize Colors of Cancer with the Community Health Champion Award - an honor presented by the East Jordan Family Health Center Board of Directors. This award celebrates individuals and organizations who have shown outstanding dedication to improving the health of our community.
In partnership with the Bellaire Family Health Center, Colors of Cancer helps ease the burden of treatment by providing financial assistance for transportation, food, and home support. The program was founded on the belief that no one in our community should have to face cancer alone—and thanks to generous community support and dedicated volunteers, that mission continues to grow.
What began as a grassroots effort in Antrim County now supports individuals diagnosed with any type of cancer, offering personalized, need-based assistance to those who are uninsured or underinsured.
The event will include a complimentary lunch, dessert, and a short program celebrating this meaningful partnership and the impact of Colors of Cancer across our region.
