Tools & Resources

National Health Center Week is the ideal time to spread the word about your health center! When planning events, focus on activities that highlight the great work you are doing. Engage all sectors of your community to participate by asking businesses to lend their support through donated resources and recruit volunteers from neighborhood groups to assist in event planning. Health centers are also encouraged to invite participation from elected officials at all levels of government by hosting health fairs, clinic tours, receptions, award presentations, and press conferences. Public-facing events are a great way to leverage media attention and generate support for health centers and programs.

About the Health Center Advocacy Network

Community Health Centers provide comprehensive care to more than 30 million patients at 14,500 service delivery sites in every U.S. state and territory. They are not-for-profit organizations driven by the mission to improve the well-being of the communities they serve. By providing highly coordinated and integrated care, Community Health Centers save the healthcare system more than $24 billion annually in reduced emergency, hospital, and specialty care costs.
