Nourish & Navigate: A Lunch and Resource Day at New Life Day Center

Event Description:
In recognition of National Health Center Week Population Focus Day, Bluegrass Community Health Center will host a lunch and resource-sharing event at our New Life Day Center Clinic for individuals experiencing homelessness and housing instability.

This event will be open to the public and will provide a welcoming space for patients and community members to receive a meal, learn about available health center services, and connect with local resources that support health, dignity, and stability. BCHC staff will be available to share information about primary care, behavioral health, substance use treatment, insurance assistance, outreach services, and how individuals can access care through BCHC.

Requested funding would help cover lunch, beverages, printed resource materials, and basic event supplies. This event directly supports BCHC’s mission to provide accessible, compassionate care to individuals who may face barriers to traditional health care settings.

Primary Audience:
Individuals experiencing homelessness, housing instability, and community members served through the New Life Day Center Clinic.

Purpose/Goal:
To reduce barriers to care by offering food, connection, health center information, and community resources in a trusted and accessible setting.
