The Huron Police Department hosted its annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Campbell Park in the center of Huron, South Dakota. The free community event featured family activities, local first-responder demonstrations, food, contests, and entertainment. Horizon Health Community Health Worker Samara Contreras hosted an informational booth about the services Horizon provides and sponsored a coloring contest.
