In recognition of National Health Center Week, Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center (ANHC) will host a one‑day Community Open House on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. ANHC is a nonprofit, community‑anchored health center dedicated to ensuring that everyone—regardless of income, insurance status, or circumstance—has access to compassionate, high‑quality care. Rooted in the belief that health care is a foundation for strong families and thriving communities, ANHC provides coordinated, whole‑person care that meets people where they are.

The Open House invites neighbors into our space to get to know ANHC, learn about our integrated medical, behavioral, and support services, and connect directly with the staff who care for our community every day. We also welcome local community partners to host information tables, creating a one‑stop environment where individuals and families can access trusted resources that support not only their health, but their overall stability and well‑being.

By bringing people together in a welcoming, inclusive setting, events like this help reduce barriers to care, build trust, and strengthen the relationships that keep our community healthy.

At the event, we will have guided tours of our facility, ANHC and community resources, a magic show, food trucks, free blood pressure screening, light refreshments, activities, and door prizes.
