As Lone Star Circle of Care celebrates National Health Center Week, we want to recognize the people who make our mission possible, our staff and patients. Every day, our teams provide exceptional, accessible, patient-centered care that strengthens the health of our communities. To celebrate, the Communications team visited clinics across our service area to capture stories highlighting the incredible work happening every day. We are also grateful to the patients who choose LSCC as their healthcare home. In appreciation, clinical staff will be distributing LSCC promotional items throughout the week.

National Health Center Week will also feature themed dress-up days, August 3-7, designed to engage patients and raise awareness about our services:
• Monday, August 3 – Maintain Your Smile Monday: Wear white and promote dental health.
• Tuesday, August 4 – Take Care Tuesday: Wear LSCC colors and highlight chronic health management.
• Wednesday, August 5 – Wacky Wednesday: Have fun while encouraging wellness checks.
• Thursday, August 6 – Twinning Thursday: Match with a colleague and spotlight integrated behavioral health services.
• Friday, August 7 – Pink Shirt Friday: Wear pink and raise awareness about mobile mammography and the Big Pink Benefit.
