National Health Center Week is a beloved annual tradition at Crossing Healthcare. To celebrate this year, Crossing Healthcare will host a week-long (8/3-8/7) celebration featuring staff appreciation activities, community resource booths, and public awareness efforts designed to recognize our staff, strengthen community partnerships, and highlight the impact Community Health Centers have on the communities they serve.

Throughout the week, all employees will receive National Health Center Week t-shirts and participate in themed dress-up days designed to promote engagement, camaraderie, and organizational pride.

Dress-Up Days
• Monday, August 3rd: Team Spirit Sports Day
• Tuesday, August 4th: Safari Day
• Wednesday, August 5th: Wild West Day
• Thursday, August 6th: Favorite Decade Day
• Friday, August 7th: Vacation Vibes Day

We will host staff appreciation events throughout the week, including:

• An ice cream food truck for all staff on Tuesday, August 4th
• A lunch food truck for all staff on Friday, August 7th
• A special staff giveaway featuring a family four-pack of tickets to a local water park

We will invite local community organizations to host resource booths in our clinic lobby throughout the week. These booths will provide information and referrals related to housing, food assistance, employment resources, education, and other services that help address social drivers of health and connect our patients and staff to valuable community resources.

To increase awareness of National Health Center Week and the role Community Health Centers play in improving access to healthcare:
• A press release will be distributed to local media outlets
• National Health Center Week activities will be promoted on Crossing Healthcare's social media channels
• Information about National Health Center Week, the role of Community Health Centers, and our celebration activities will be featured on the digital display in our clinic lobby for patients and visitors throughout the week
