Spectrum Health Services is committed to advancing preventive care and community engagement through coordinated, patient-centered programming. Our Children’s Health Day event is designed to provide access to preventive services, health education, and resources for families in the communities we serve, many of whom face barriers to timely pediatric care.

In addition to Children’s Health Day, we are implementing a series of complementary outreach initiatives to reinforce our commitment to whole-person care and community wellness. These include a community blood drive to support critical local blood supply needs, as well as a farmers' market with a live cooking demonstration focused on nutrition education and chronic disease prevention. These events are intentionally designed to meet patients where they are, promote healthy behaviors, and address social drivers of health.
This coordinated approach reflects our organizational priority to expand access beyond traditional clinic walls, strengthen trust within the community, and improve health outcomes through prevention, education, and early intervention. Funding support will allow us to enhance outreach efforts, increase participation, and ensure that families receive meaningful, accessible, and culturally responsive services.
