Offering vaccines free of charge helps patients surmount financial barriers to medical care and entering school. Since 2012, SBCHC has administered 8,378 vaccines to 3,125 children through our Annual Back‐to‐School Vaccine Drive (BTSVD). Annually, the top vaccines administered are MCV4, Tdap, HPV, Hep A, and MMR. In 2026, SBCHC will host a Saturday event to expand coverage and assist children across three major school districts, Katy ISD, Cy-Fair ISD, and Spring Branch ISD. We aim to vaccinate 120 children across both “first come-first serve” style vaccine drives. SBCHC will also prioritize encouraging 80 eligible patients to receive HPV vaccine across the month of August 2026. Each event will occur at a clinic location on a Saturday to open access to care. This year, the first event will take place August 8, 2026 at our Cy-Fair CHC 7777 Westgreen Blvd. Houston, TX 77433.

Objective 1: Host a Saturday Events: Host a Saturday event offering free vaccine to uninsured children on August 8, 2026 at SBCHC’s Cy-Fair CHC 7777 Westgreen Blvd. Houston, TX 77433.
Objective 2: Vaccinate 120 children (uninsured, Medicaid/CHIP) ages 5-18 during the one-day Saturday event.
Objective 3: Vaccinate 80 children ages 9-18 for HPV over the month of August 2026 via ‘bundling’ with BTS vaccines.
Objective 4: Distribute health education materials and school supplies to 120+ event participants during the BTS Vaccine Drive.
